Whether you are a teenager or adult, have cystic acne or hormonal acne, Skincare by Semya offers virtual and in person acne boot camp! As a certified Face Reality acne specialist, we will work together to get your skin cleared.
HOW LONG IS THE ACNE BOOTCAMP?
Clearing is a process, and does not happen overnight. Acne can take up to 90 days to surface. Due to this, it can take time to clear your acne. The type of acne you have and how committed you are to the program, will all affect how long it takes to clear your acne. Typically the program will have your acne controlled in 3-6 months (in most cases). Some types of acne take longer to clear.
WHAT IS EXPECTED FROM ME?
If you decide to join the program, you are expected to follow a custom home care regimen with products that have been chosen for you and your acne needs. Your also expected to receive the recommended professional treatments like advanced facials and chemical peels to improve the skin quicker. Unless you decide to start the virtual program.
WHAT IS THE PROCESS?
We will start with an in depth consultation to discuss your acne type, lifestyle and acne history. A treatment can also be done after your consultation if you decide to book the “acne bootcamp consultation + treatment” when booking your appointment. If you decide to commit to the program you will be sent home with a custom skin care routine and treatment plan. Treatments are performed every 2 weeks.
*Products are and additional cost. Cost will vary per individual but be prepared to spend $120-150 for your initial home care products
WHAT IF I’M PREGNANT OR ON PRESCRIPTIONS?
If using Retin-A, Differin, Renova or any other prescription medications or medication for Rosacea, you will need to discontinue using 14 days prior to your consultation.
If using Accutane, you need to stop taking 3 months before you start the program.
If you are pregnant or nursing, you need to have your doctor’s permission before starting the program. Some treatments and products in the program are not advised for use while pregnant or nursing.
Acne Boot CAMP REQUIRES YOUR COMMITMENT AND WILL NOT WORK IF DONE SPORADICALLY?
It is my goal to dramatically improve your skin in 4-6 months, but individual results will vary. Your compliance is of utmost importance. Keeping up with your appointments and using your products as directed is imperative to clearing your skin. I look forward to helping you on your skincare journey!
